The New York Knicks are gearing up to take on the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, with particular attention on Jalen Brunson.
Fortunately, the latest news indicates that Brunson does not appear on the injury report and will be available to play against the Pacers.
The Knicks head into Game 4 with renewed confidence following an incredible comeback in Game 3, where they transformed what looked like a certain defeat into a thrilling 106-100 win over Indiana.
Since game 5 vs Boston, Jalen Brunson’s play has been very uncharacteristic.
In foul trouble way too much, a lot of bone headed decisions & turnovers, & really bad defense. Things we haven’t seen in previous postseasons.
But, if there is any one I trust, it’s the Captain.… pic.twitter.com/HrT9rPMUAV

After trailing by 20 points, the Knicks fought back during the second half, avoiding a potentially damaging 3-0 series hole. With the series now at 2-1, they’ll face the Pacers again on Tuesday night in Indiana.
A significant factor in the Knicks’ triumph was Karl-Anthony Towns, who delivered a remarkable performance in the fourth quarter. Starting the final period with just four points, he erupted for 20 points over the last 12 minutes.
This marked the second-highest fourth-quarter score by a Knicks player in playoff history since 1997. Towns’ offensive surge was critical, particularly as Jalen Brunson struggled with foul trouble in the second half.

Though Jalen Brunson couldn’t make significant contributions to the Game 3 win, Karl-Anthony Towns certainly rose to the occasion.
Watching from the bench due to foul trouble, Brunson witnessed Towns take over and deliver an exceptional performance, scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter to drive the comeback.
“I saw a guy go out there who did not want to lose, and so the way he just went out there and basically got that game for us was remarkable,” Brunson remarked.

Another positive from Game 3 was the Knicks’ effective defense against Pacers standout Pascal Siakam. After allowing him to score 39 points in the previous matchup, they managed to hold him to just 17 points this time.
Brunson emphasized that constraining Siakam’s scoring, particularly in transition, was crucial to their success.
