The Indiana Fever had much to celebrate once again on Tuesday night. Following consecutive defeats to the WNBA-leading Minnesota Lynx, the Caitlin Clark-less Fever controlled the game against the Seattle Storm from beginning to end, securing a 95-75 victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana.
Aliyah Boston was the star of the night, delivering an impressive performance against the Storm, finishing with a game-high 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting. She also contributed three assists and two steals, and with nine rebounds, the former South Carolina Gamecocks standout reached the 1,000-rebound milestone in her WNBA career. Not only was this a personal achievement, but Boston also became the fastest player in Fever history to reach that rebounding mark.
Boston appeared unaware of her milestone during the game but learned of its significance later in the locker room, looking surprised by the historical accomplishment.
“Thanks, ladies,” Boston responded as her teammates cheered her achievement.
“Total team effort.” 👏

Rebounding has consistently been one of Boston’s strong suits. She averaged 8.4 rebounds during her rookie season in 2023 and 8.9 boards in 2024. Coming into the game against Seattle, she averaged 8.2 rebounds per game in the 2025 WNBA season, also taking on a larger offensive role due to Clark’s ongoing absence.
Along with Boston, other Fever players who made significant contributions in the Seattle matchup were Odyssey Sims and Kelsey Mitchell, scoring 22 and 21 points, respectively. As a team, Indiana dominated the shot count, attempting 10 more shots than the Storm. The Fever’s efficient ball movement and unselfish play caused numerous issues for Seattle, with Indiana making 36 field goals on 22 assists.
With this win, the Fever improved their record to 20-18, placing them sixth in the WNBA standings. However, they cannot afford to become complacent, as they have not yet secured a guaranteed postseason spot. Currently, the Fever sit just two games ahead of the WNBA playoff line. They have six regular-season games remaining, including an upcoming contest against Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks this Friday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
